SUMMARY:Resource-Efficient Decarbonisation Pathways
DESCRIPTION:In a modelling exercise\, the German Environment Agency further explored the nexus between climate policies and associated resource requirements. Six different quantitative scenarios for Germany describe potential alternative pathways to achieve a greenhouse gas neutral and resource-efficient economy by the year 2050. \nAt the conference\, we will explore: \n\nThe scenarios developed within the project “A Resource-Efficient and Greenhouse-Gas-Neutral Germany 2050” and resulting conclusions; and\nImplications of the study for the wider national\, EU and international policy context.\n\nYou are invited to join us and about 150 national and international experts and decision-makers from policy making\, industry\, academia and civil society to discuss options and opportunities to advance on decarbonisation pathways. \nRegistration for the conference is now open.
