The Esposito plant in Marcianise, which already handles 100 tons of used clothing and footwear daily, is one of the most advanced in the country, equipped with state-of-the-art 4.0 automation systems. Here, used clothes are given a new life through a meticulous selection and regeneration process, allowing garments to be ready for reuse and sold in various markets worldwide.

In the coming months, the plant will be upgraded with the new Picvisa automatic line, designed to classify garments into 24 different categories using a dual conveyor system with the capacity to process up to two tons of clothing per hour. This advancement will significantly improve efficiency and accuracy in sorting clothes by composition and colour and will include an advanced product traceability system, allowing detailed control at every stage of the process.
