The training centre is scheduled to commence operations at AMTEC by the end of May 2026. It is designed to address the demand for qualified personnel, particularly machine operators and supervisors, in plastic recycling. The programme includes a 72-hour course combining theoretical content with practical training. Erema is providing an Intarema 605 TE recycling system with a throughput capacity of 50 to 100 kg per hour for training purposes, enabling instruction under industrial conditions.
Industry cooperation and technology transfer
The cooperation between Erema and AIPMA links technical expertise with industry training requirements. The programme is developed by AMTEC and supported by Erema’s application knowledge. The training content focuses on the operation, process control and maintenance of recycling systems.
Qualification for operational roles
Participants completing the programme acquire practical and technical knowledge relevant to plastics recycling operations. The training prepares graduates for roles in recycling plants, including positions involving Erema systems, and supports further professional development. AMTEC provides industry connections and facilitates access to employment opportunities within its member network and the wider recycling sector.
