The European Electronics Recyclers Association (EERA) has named Judith Wanjala as its new Policy, Communications and Members Officer, starting on 1 October 2025. In her new role, she will work closely with EERA’s CEO, Julie-Ann Adams, to advance the association’s mission of representing Europe’s electronics recyclers.
Judith Wanjala brings extensive experience in communications and stakeholder engagement within the recycling and sustainability sectors. She has previously collaborated with several EERA members and partners, making her well acquainted with the association’s network and priorities.
Born and raised in Kenya, Wanjala moved to the Netherlands in the mid-1990s. She is fluent in Swahili, Dutch, and English, and also proficient in German. In 2021, she completed a Master’s degree in Sustainable Supply Chain & Logistics at Osnabrück Business School in Germany, further strengthening her expertise in global value chains.
The EERA Board welcomed the appointment, highlighting Wanjala’s background in electronics recycling as a valuable addition to the team. Wanjala expressed enthusiasm for joining EERA and contributing to the vital work being carried out across the electronics recycling sector in Europe.
