The change in leadership takes place during an ongoing transformation phase in the European plastics value chain. A central focus of the presidency will be the further development and implementation of “The Plastics Transition”, Plastics Europe’s industry roadmap published in November 2023. The roadmap sets out measures to increase the circularity of plastics, expand the use of secondary raw materials and support progress towards climate-neutral production in Europe by 2050.
Rob Ingram has more than 30 years of professional experience in the chemicals and plastics sector and has held senior commercial and executive roles in international company structures. He has been CEO of INEOS Olefins & Polymers Europe since 2018 and previously chaired Plastics Europe’s Transition Roadmap Committee, which coordinates activities across the plastics value chain relating to circular material flows, recycling technologies and competitiveness.
At its General Assembly on 17 December 2025, Plastics Europe also elected three Vice Presidents:
- Stephanie Kalil, Commercial Vice President Packaging & Specialty Plastics, Dow
Craig Arnold, Executive Vice President Polyolefins, Base Chemicals (HC&E) & Circular Economy Solutions, Borealis
