Redback grinders have been in operation for several decades, primarily in Australia, where they have been used under demanding operating conditions. The product line is based on long-standing experience in the design and manufacture of heavy-duty machinery for recycling and material processing applications. The machines are designed for continuous operation and stable throughput under varying feedstock and environmental conditions.
For the U.S. market, two tracked models are being introduced: the DS800T with an output of 785 hp and the DS1125T with 1,125 hp. Both machines are equipped with Caterpillar diesel engines and feature reinforced components for contamination protection. The design prioritises accessibility to key components, allowing routine maintenance and servicing to be carried out efficiently in the field.
Sales, service and parts support in the United States and Canada are provided through Doppstadt’s cooperation with Ecoverse LLC. The partnership enables market coverage via an established dealer network and includes technical support, operator training and spare parts availability aimed at ensuring consistent machine availability.
The Redback grinders are intended for a wide range of recycling and waste processing applications, including green waste, wood waste, land clearing material and storm debris. Depending on configuration and material input, the machines can be used to produce end products such as mulch, compost feedstock or biomass for energy recovery.
