Focus on EU regulation and implementation

The ELV Forum, based in Brussels, aims to improve the feasibility and enforcement of European requirements in the field of end-of-life vehicles. A central element is the exchange of operational and regulatory experience between producer responsibility organisations. This is intended to support the practical implementation of the forthcoming European ELV Regulation.

International cooperation and knowledge exchange

The platform starts with 16 member organisations from several European countries. It provides a framework for cooperation among established systems and supports the development of new producer responsibility structures in EU vehicle recycling.

Alignment of European ELV systems

With the establishment of the ELV Forum, participating organisations are creating a structure for closer alignment of national approaches to end-of-life vehicles. The initiative is intended to contribute to consistent implementation of EU requirements and to facilitate coordination between producers and recycling systems.
