Resource-Efficient Decarbonisation Pathways

04.11.2019 - 05.11.2019

In a modelling exercise, the German Environment Agency further explored the nexus between climate policies and associated resource requirements. Six different quantitative scenarios for Germany describe potential alternative pathways to achieve a greenhouse gas neutral and resource-efficient economy by the year 2050.

At the conference, we will explore:

  • The scenarios developed within the project “A Resource-Efficient and Greenhouse-Gas-Neutral Germany 2050” and resulting conclusions; and
  • Implications of the study for the wider national, EU and international policy context.

You are invited to join us and about 150 national and international experts and decision-makers from policy making, industry, academia and civil society to discuss options and opportunities to advance on decarbonisation pathways.

Registration for the conference is now open. More detailed information on the event, including agenda and logistical information can be found on the conference website.
