  • With a progressive approach to waste management, material recovery and green energy, the Vanheede Environment Group in Bel-gium makes an important contribution to the circular economy. 98.4% of the waste collected is already recycled or used for useful applications – a proportion that Vanheede is constantly increasing through continuous investment.

  • Lindner continues expanding its global market presence with the foundation of Lindner LATAM. Working with local partners, the company is driving recycling solutions for waste processing and strengthening its customer service.

  • Inducore has signed an agreement to acquire Presona AB. The Inducore Group already includes several specialized operational businesses that provide system solutions, products, components, logistics solutions, and contract manufacturing.

  • Eurostat estimates that in 2024, EU countries invested about €76 billion in assets essential for providing environmental protection services. These services include wastewater treatment plants, vehicles for transporting waste, acquisitions of land to create natural reserves, and cleaner equipment for production.

  • The last two years had been “truly exceptional” for BIR, with particularly notable progress in strengthening the world organisation’s resources and structure, in expanding its educational footprint, in growing its targeted communications output and in creating the right conditions to grow its acclaimed twice-yearly Conventions.
