“Naturally: SWB” is the new strapline of Stahlwerke Bochum GmbH targeting the key aspects sustainability and technological leadership. At IFAT 2016 the specialist in development and manufacture of highly wear-resistant tools and components for scrap recycling, crushing and mineral processing invites fairgoers to convince themselves of the high quality of SWB’s products and services.

From 30 May to 03 June 2016 Stahlwerke Bochum GmbH (SWB) presents its wide product range and extensive service package at IFAT 2016 in Munich consisting of application consulting, the entire spectrum of highly wear-resistant castings – including their matching to the design and the utilization of the machines in which they are used – as well as all components that are required for an economic operation of a plant. In hall C3, stand 135/234 SWB experts offer consultancy meeting individual needs and look forward to numerous visitors.

SWB products are used in shredders, crushers and other processing equipment subjected to highest levels of wear. SWB wear parts have the highest resistance to abrasion, erosion and impact and therefore significantly improve the efficiency of the processing equipment in which they are used. The SWB production is based on a computer-driven simulation of the casting technology. The pattern production is followed by machine moulding for series in a semi-automatic moulding plant or by hand moulding for piece production of wear parts up to 7,000 kg. Dependent on the level of wear SWB supplies wear parts made of low and high alloyed steel as well as of casted special materials for highest levels of wear. An individual heat treatment gives the wear parts their final grade to match the highest requirements.
