Franzefoss has an annual turnover of approximately €100 million and operates over 250 waste and recycling collection vehicles across 22 sites. The contract will see the company consolidate and replace a number of legacy systems, through the implementation of AMCS’ Enterprise Management (ERP) and Intelligent Optimisation solutions. The new system will also include the introduction of the latest mobile technology for its drivers. The implementation will be managed from AMCS’s offices in Copenhagen and Sweden.

Commenting on the investment, Franzefoss CEO, Truls Markussen, said: “In recent years, Franzefoss has been looking for a single nationwide solution capable of replacing the 4 systems that are currently used to manage our operation across Norway. Following a period of detailed supplier evaluation, we identified that AMCS’ suite of solutions and experience of the market would make them the best fit for Franzefoss. We look forward to working with the AMCS team on the implementation and future development of this system.”

AMCS’s Sales Manager, Frank Bolso, also commented saying: “We look forward to working with the team at Franzefoss and helping them to realise the significant commercial and operational benefits that this new system has to offer. We recognise that this is a long-term relationship and will maintain the existing partnership approach to extend the scope of the solution and deliver continuous improvement.”
