Primary crusher for mineral processing
The ROKTEC JC 900 is designed for the primary processing of mineral materials with compressive strengths above 250 MPa. The 30-tonne machine achieves throughput rates of up to 170 tonnes per hour, depending on the application.
The jaw crusher uses a conventional system with one moving and one fixed jaw. According to Eggersmann, this design reduces wear during crushing. The machine is intended for use as a primary crusher in recycling and aggregate applications.
The company positions the ROKTEC JC 900 in combination with the ROKTEC IC 1000 impact crusher as a mobile processing line. In this configuration, the jaw crusher handles coarse pre-crushing, while the impact crusher produces a more uniform final grain shape.
This process is relevant for the production of recycled construction materials from demolition waste. Cubical final grain from impact crushing can improve compaction properties in road base layers.
In addition to concrete, reinforced concrete and brick rubble, the jaw crusher can process natural stone and coal.
Adjustable crushing system
The ROKTEC JC 900 shares several design features with the ROKTEC IC 1000 impact crusher. These include a pre-screen for removing fines before crushing and an optional side discharge conveyor.
The feed area includes a conveyor chute with adjustable feed speed and automatic material dosing. The machine also monitors material flow into the crushing chamber automatically.
Operators can adjust the crushing gap between 40 and 140 mm. Depending on the setting, the machine produces final grain sizes ranging from 0–70 mm up to 0–250 mm.
Eggersmann also offers several configuration options for different applications. For reinforced concrete processing, the machine can be equipped with an iron bender for handling rebar. An optional overbelt magnet removes ferrous material. Users can adjust both the magnet distance and discharge side.
Additional options include dust suppression systems, belt scales with or without digital data transmission and weather protection for the operator.
Expansion of IMPAKTOR cooperation
Eggersmann also announced an expansion of its cooperation with Norbert Hammel. Customers can now purchase the Eggersmann IMPAKTOR 1000 in addition to the IMPAKTOR 250.
Eggersmann IMPAKTOR GmbH was founded in early 2025. The company initially introduced the IMPAKTOR 250 under a licensing agreement with Norbert Hammel. The portfolio was later expanded with additional equipment, including a primary shredder and a trommel screen.
