EU Taxonomy and the role of waste-to-energy: a missed chance for circularity

In light of the adoption of the Taxonomy's delegated act on activities substantially contributing to climate mitigation, FEAD stresses the need to reassess waste-to-energy as an activity positively contributing to climate mitigation objectives.
