BIR starts Global Recycling Day website

As announced at last year's BIR conferences, the federation has taken next steps for the planned Global Recycling day. The website dedicated to this event is now online. The website will include information on actions, stakeholders, supporters, campaigns etc.

Thr BIR also calls to support an online petition to make the initiative a success.

"Our aim is to dramatically increase the visibility of the international recycling industry and vigorously highlight the important contribution of recycling to climate change mitigation and the protection our our planet. As a result, political deciscion makers, other industrial sectors and the public will be aware of who we are and how the recycling industry benefits society", BIR claims.
