Chemical recycling: pyrolysis oil from waste tires

BASF invests into Pyrum as part of its Chemcycling project. The investment is intended to support construction of additional production capacities for pyrolysis oil. BASF hopes pyrolysis oil will partly replace fossil feedstock and be used for demanding plastic applications.
