CP Group, recycling solutions provider and equipment manufacturer based in San Diego, CA, has unveiled the Virtual MRF at Waste Expo in New Orleans.

CP Group uses virtual reality for MRF simulation

The Virtual MRF is a virtual reality simulation that uses two hand held controls and a virtual reality headset. The simulation allows users to explore every inch of a life-size computer-generated model of a material recovery facility (MRF) in real time.

“This unlike anything that has been done before in our industry,” says Ashley Davis, Director of Sales and Marketing for CP Group. “Our Virtual MRF uses the most cutting-edge tech to provide our customers with a very concrete sense of what their facility will be like before anything is actually built. This technology has a lot of potential, not only for our sales force, but for our engineers, and we’re proud to be the first to bring it into the recycling equipment manufacturing industry.”

CP Group will be running Virtual MRF demonstrations at their booth #3647 throughout Waste Expo, May 9-11.
