Recycling against emissions

According to a study commissioned by Crown Holdings and the International Aluminium Institute (IAI), improvements in beverage can recycling practices in six countries around the world could help reduce global CO2 emissions by up to 60 million tonnes by 2030. The study, conducted by management consultancy Roland Berger, identifies 20 short- and long-term measures to strengthen recycling systems and increase beverage can recycling rates in various countries, including Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia and the United Arab Emirates - key markets in which Crown operates.
