Only the myth is recycled

Chemical recycling has been sold by certain stakeholders as the solution to the plastic waste crisis for quite some time. But there are also numerous voices that are much more critical of the proceedings. These include Beyond Plastic and IPEN, which find very clear words in their report as to why chemical recycling will not solve the plastic problem.
